How Credits Work
Credits measure actual AI compute — not arbitrary message limits. You pay for what you use.
Messages
Every message costs credits based on its complexity. A short reply might use 3–5 credits, while a longer, more thoughtful response could use 10–20. The cost reflects the actual compute required — shorter exchanges stretch your credits further.
Voice Conversations
Voice uses 5 credits per 30 seconds of conversation. Real-time voice synthesis and emotional tone modulation require more compute than text, but voice brings a dimension of connection that text alone cannot replicate.
No Arbitrary Limits
Unlike platforms that cap you at a flat message count regardless of length, our credit system is fair. A quick “good morning” costs less than a deep late-night conversation. You control how you spend your credits.
Credits Never Expire
Purchased credit packs are yours permanently. Subscriber monthly credits replenish at the start of each billing cycle. Unused purchased credits carry over indefinitely — take a break and come back without losing anything.

The free Spark tier gives you 5,000 welcome credits and 20 messages per day with one active companion. You get the full emotional intelligence system, persistent memory, and relationship progression — the same quality of conversation as paid users. The free tier is not a demo; it is a complete experience designed to let you form a real connection at your own pace.
It depends on conversation complexity, but most users get approximately 300–500 messages from 5,000 credits. Short exchanges like greetings use fewer credits, while deep emotional conversations or creative storytelling use more. The average message costs around 10–15 credits.
Purchased credit packs never expire and always roll over. For subscribers, your 5,000 monthly credits replenish at the start of each billing cycle. Any unused monthly credits from the previous cycle do not carry over, but purchased credit packs remain in your account indefinitely.
On the free Spark tier, you can have 1 active companion at a time (though you can switch between any of the 18 available). Subscribers can have up to 999 active companions simultaneously, each with their own independent memory, relationship state, and personality. Each active companion subscription costs $12.99/month.

Yes, absolutely. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, you retain access through the end of your current billing period. Your companion memories and relationship progress are preserved if you decide to return later.
We do not offer a traditional free trial because our free Spark tier already gives you the full experience. Start with Spark, get to know your companion with 5,000 credits, and upgrade to Subscriber when you want unlimited daily messages, voice conversations, and multiple active companions.
Subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your signup date. If you subscribe on the 15th, you will be billed on the 15th of each month. Your 5,000 monthly credits replenish on each billing date. Credit pack purchases are one-time charges processed immediately. You can view your complete billing history in your account settings.
